I am a passionate and self-motivated individual who is eager to continue and develop my skills within a professional studio environment. Although my university course explores multiple areas of the pipeline, animation has always been my favourite aspect, and I regularly spend time outside of university experimenting and improving my work.

Over the summer, I plan to focus on practicing quadruped rigs to further challenge myself and grow as an animator as so far I have had a main focus on biped rigs for assignments. I am always looking for ways to learn and refine my skills.

I have recently completed a collaborative group project at university, which taught me a lot about teamwork and communication within a production environment. I really enjoyed working closely with others, supporting teammates when challenges came up, and learning together throughout the process.

I am excited by future opportunities to work in an environment where I can continue to grow, contribute positively to a team, and learn from feedback to further strengthen my skills.

This year, I am excited to attend the BFX Festival hosted by my university, where I will have the opportunity to attend industry talks, speaker series, networking events, and masterclasses. I'm particularly looking forward to meeting professionals, learning more about different areas of the industry, and refining my skills through these experiences.

At the end of June, I'll also be attending the Annecy International Animation Film Festival for a week in France which is something I've been incredibly excited about. I plan to make the most of the festival by attending a wide range of events, talks, and screenings. one of the things I love most about animation is how collaborative and passionate the community is, so I am really excited to connect with other creatives who share the same passion for animation, build relationships within the industry, and gain a deeper understanding of the professional world of animation.
